Where the heck are you? TOP

In a little casa near the Sandia Mountains of Albuquerque, New Mexico.  I live here with my hubby, Gary, and my cutey-pie pooch, Lulu.

What on earth are you doing there? TOP

I moved here in 1993 from suburban Chicago because it sounded like a good idea.  I met my cute California born and bred hubby in 1998, and now that we have our little casa and too many beads to move, we’re staying put.

What are your payment, shipping, return & privacy policies? TOP

Currently, I only accept PayPal payments for purchases through this website.  You don't need a PayPal account to pay anything through PayPal, you just need a credit card.  Any questions on that, feel free to drop me a line via the contact page.
All orders are shipped within 72 hours of payment (usually sooner) via First Class Mail.  I ship Monday through Friday.  Shipping cost is $2.95 flat rate...that means, your shipping cost will not increase, regardless of how many items you order--so please feel free to fill up your shopping cart.  All items are wrapped with love & care to ensure your baubles are safely delivered to you.
I understand it can be weird to purchase jewelry online, since jewelry is such a touchy-feely kind of a deal.  I do my best to describe things accurately and take good pictures so you know what you're getting.  However, if you are not completely 100% happy as a clam with your purchase, I am happy to accept a return for an exchange or a refund when products are returned in their original condition.  Just contact me.
And no -- your information will never, ever be given out to anyone or any company under any circumstance.  That just wouldn't be cool.  So, rest your cute little head.

Will you tell me where you got a certain bead? TOP

Sure.  I’m not secretive about anything.  You’ll never see a “I will not reveal my suppliers” line on this website.  I won’t blog about going on secret trips to Rhode Island or somewhere to route through elusive beading warehouses known only to the inner-beading elite.  I’m not that cool, and as I said before, I’m not a bead snob.  It’s a great big world of beads out there, and I don’t mind sharing.  I will tell you that a lot of my stuff is random and even I couldn’t make another piece exactly the same, but I’m happy to tell you where it all came from (if I can remember.  Mind you, there are lots of beads around here).  Also, if you need some help or some advice with a technique or a resource, feel free to drop me a line by filling out the contact form.

What's the deal with your wacky product names? TOP

Half the fun of this is naming the baubles & doo-dads.  It probably all comes from a little too much pop culture, bad TV, and that I grew up  loving boys in hair bands who wore eyeliner.  A lot of my name ideas come from things I overhear in conversations and old movies and read in waiting room magazines.  But honestly, I get a lot of names from 80s and 90s cute, eyeliner-wearing boys' song lyrics.  It's still all stuck in my head somewhere, rattling around, waiting to bestow it's cuteness into a necklace or something.  I'm sure they would all approve.  I was loyal.

Why do you use the word “cute” so much? TOP

Because I’m a girl, and I grew up in the 80’s.  We use it a lot when we go shopping with other girls.  You can totally hear us if you pay attention, we’re everywhere.  “Look at that—that’s so cute!”  “Isn’t that cute?”   “Too cute!”  If you ever meet me, I also say, “like” too much and inappropriately.  Like, isn’t that cute?
